Hemmens Building Pty Ltd collects contact details, the project address, your brief, budget, drawings, photographs, payment references and review correspondence to supply and support your feasibility service. Stripe processes card payments; our feasibility application does not store your full card details.
Authorised HB personnel review your information, scope, budget and report. Essential cookies and expiring access links provide secure sessions. Please keep access links private and request a replacement if access expires.
Service providers and AI assistance
We use Vercel for application hosting, Supabase for authentication/database/private document storage, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional notifications and AWS for encrypted backups. Malware scanning checks uploaded files before acceptance. We may use OpenAI-assisted document and scope analysis, with HB reviewing the results before they are relied on or issued. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and is not an independent engineering assessment.
Primary project database, private storage and backup infrastructure are located in Sydney. This does not mean all processing remains in Australia: payment, email, application support and AI providers may process data overseas, including in the United States. Processing locations depend on the service and its subprocessors; Australian hosting does not guarantee Australian-only processing. We can provide further information about the providers used for your assessment on request.
Only information needed for the assessment should be supplied. Avoid unrelated personal information and ensure you are authorised to provide drawings and other documents. We do not sell project information or automatically subscribe you to marketing. Any disclosure to independent designers, engineers or trades for a further service is discussed with you first, unless disclosure is required by law.

Retention and requests
We review project documents for deletion 24 months after service completion unless needed for an ongoing HB engagement, dispute or legal obligation. We retain payment/tax records for applicable legal and accounting requirements. Deletion is managed by HB, not an instant automated process.
Encrypted backups may retain older copies after deletion from the active system. We do not promise immediate deletion, automatic deletion or a fixed backup-expiry period. Requests are assessed against recovery, legal and ongoing project requirements.
Reasonable access controls, MFA for builder access, private storage, scanning and encrypted backups reduce risks, but no system is guaranteed risk-free. Contact dylan@hemmensbuilding.com.au to request access/correction, discuss deletion, ask about AI processing or make a privacy complaint. We will assess your request and explain any lawful reason we cannot fully comply. We investigate suspected incidents and meet applicable notification obligations.
